The Incredibly Amazing Magician
I saw the most incredible show recently. I group of friends and I won these tickets on a radio call in show. We were lucky enough to call in with the correct answer to the trivia question they were asking. The winning prize was four tickets to see this local magician.
I hadn’t seen a magic show since my friends fifth birthday party. They hired this guy to come and do these tricks. It was OK, I guess, although to tell you the truth I don’t remember that much about. I suppose that means that it wasn’t that great. I think he did some magic coin tricks, and maybe a few card tricks. Just your run of the mill kids part magic tricks.
The performance we were lucky enough to see the other night was on a completely different level of skill. This guy did some of the most bizarre tricks I’ve ever heard of. The entire time the crowd was spellbound. Nobody was even talking to each other at their tables. They were just staring at this guy. It made me really want to learn magic tricks.
The first thing he did were these pseudo psychic tricks. He started guessing peoples ages, and weights. Basic stuff. Just to get the crowd warmed up. Then he started doing harder stuff, like guessing peoples drivers license numbers and stuff.
After that he really shocked everybody. He walked around, and talked to a few people. Some people he would lean in and touch on the shoulder. Some people’s hands he shocked. Then he went back up on stage and started telling these really lame, but long winded jokes. And while he was doing that, all the people that he touched physically came up on stage. Like they were zombies or something.
When they were on stage, he made them all speak in Martian, and told the crowd they were there, and had mistaken this club for the UN. So we had to listen to a group of people give a speech, in Martian, to the United Nations. It was the strangest thing I’d ever seen. If you haven’t seen a magic show recently, you should check one . I think magic may have changed from what you may remember.
