Belles on Their Toes – Here, Myrna Loy plays a widowed architect who will struggle to bring up her aging brood. 20th Century Fox back lot seen at its best in recollecting early 1900s America. Clifton Webb makes a concise appearance at the ending. Me without You – Apprehensive, tender Williams and extroverted Friel have been best friends as long as they can recall, still as they come of age their friendship is compromised. Credibly charming girl friend film has some strainful minutes, but it does not quite gel. All About My Mother – While a woman loses her youngster, she returns to Barcelona, rekindles a suppressed kinship with a transvestite buddy, who unknowingly the child’s father. Pedro Almodovar directed this movie and it is his most affecting film to date-more intense than most, although not without his trademark humor and differentiated by outstanding behaviors all around.
