Why To Buy The Mindflex Game
Everyone wants the new Mindflex game now! Literally a mind game, it utilizes the highly advanced technology of today. Your mind controls the game, not your hands.
How It Works
The wireless headset that you wear will monitor you brainwave activity. And the sensors will communicate your thoughts to the ball in order to move it. The more you concentrate, the more accurately the ball will move. When you concentrate less or relax, the ball will lower, or move down where you want it – another tactic to control the path in which the ball will move.
The actual game requires four C batteries for the console and three triple A batteries for the wireless headset. These batteries are not included.
How You Play
The game can be played in five modes: Freestyle, Chase the Lights, Danger Zone, Thoughtshot and Mental Marathon.
Freestyle is for one player and there is no time limit. This mode is often used for practice, just to improve your concentration techniques.
Chase the Lights can be played with up to four players. You must move the ball to tag the lights on the console in a specific sequence that the console will provide first. Whoever tags the most lights is the winner. This mode can be played in one-minute, two-minute or three-minute intervals, with the least time being the most challenging.
Danger Zone is for one, two, three or four players. The time intervals are twenty seconds, forty-five seconds and one minute – for experts, intermediate players and beginners respectively. To win, avoid the spots called “danger zones” when they’re blinking. Stay in the clear for the total amount of time.
Thoughtshot is for one, two, three or four players. You must blast the ball into the basket, out of the cannon. Every basket scored is equal to one point. The person who has the most points at the end wins.
Mental Marathon is for one, two, three or four players. All you do is navigate the ball through the obstacle course. There’s no time limit. But, the person who finishes fastest wins.
How You Win
The object of Mindflex is to move the ball through the obstacle course that was created. An obstacle course can be created by nine objects that are included in the game. There is no set number of the amount of different obstacle courses you can create. In order to win, navigate the ball, the fastest you can, from the beginning to the end of the course without making a mistake. The game can be hard or easy depending on which obstacles you use and how you arrange them.
Who Should Play
This game is not recommended for children under the age of three. The foam ball can be a choking hazard since it is not attached to the game console. In addition, this game requires a little tolerance. Young children who do not have much patience or concentration control may become frustrated easily with this game. Mindflex is best for people who like other mind games like SuDoku or the oh-so-famous Rubik’s Cube.
Where To Buy
The Mindflex game is available at the following stores: Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Best Buy and Toys-R-Us. You can also buy the game online at the Amazon, Meijer and Entertainmentearth websites. It costs about eighty dollars, with no sales or coupons.
