Make no mistake about it Zynga games created the perfect Facebook game when they released FarmVille. If you haven’t played it yet, let me warn you, it can be quite fun and a little addictive. People everywhere are playing the game and interestingly enough are able to work cooperatively with other Facebook friends that also play the game. As you learn how to plant, plow, and harvest your crops you’ll slowly advance through the first levels of the game.

Eventually, you realize that you want to get some of the cool items that are only available to those who achieve higher levels. Holiday decorations, new buildings, vehicles, and seeds are just a few things that you will begin to unlock as you move up. The trick is to move up fast.

So how is this accomplished? The easiest way to learn how to rapidly move up to the high levels is to check out some FarmVille game guides. It’s a quick and legal way to play smarter not harder and that’s important when it comes to your precious time. Here’s a quick tip: There are a few things that you need to keep at the back of your mind as you’re playing FarmVille. Get those experience points so that you can move to the next level. For example, if you flow a plot of land you’ll receive one experience point. Plant a plot of soy beans and you’ll receive 2 experience points, which at 15 coins is not a bad investment at all! You’ll do ok in the early stages just planting and harvesting crops but as your level get’s higher you need much more experience points to move to the next level.

When you want to build up experience points quickly in FarmVille, you have to supplement what you gain from your normal harvests with other activities. Making improvements to your farm is a good way to gain some quick chunks of experience points. Buildings yield the most, but you can get experience from putting up just about any decoration or structure. You just have to pay close attention to the amounts of experience points each item will deliver.

FAST TIP: Since we don’t have eternity to play the game here’s a quick way to speed up a part of the game that’s unnecessarily slow. If you’ve ever noticed how slowly your little farmer moves across the field (esp. if you have a 20×20 farm) then you’ll understand what I’m talking about. I noticed one day that when I’d milk my cows that were fenced in my farmer didn’t walk over to them, the computer just performed the action. The opposite is also true, if you trap your farmer inside an animal fence then the computer will automatically and IMMEDIATELY perform whatever plant, plow, or harvesting action you make. This essentially, doubles the speed you can plant, plow, and harvest your crops.

Know the harvest times of your crops and take a realistic assessment of how much time you have to spend in the game. If you’re away for days on end then get more animals and trees as they won’t rot like regular crops. Remember to trap your farmer inside a fence to speed up the entire planting, plowing, and harvesting process.
