Below, I have described ten viruses currently cited as being the most widespread and being potentially able to cause the most damage. However, new viruses are being created daily, so this list is by no means complete. The only thing you can do is stay alert, keep your anti-virus software updated, and stay aware of the current computer virus threats.

Virus: Trojan.Lodear: A Trojan (from Trojan Horse) that tries to download files from a remote source. It will introduce a .dll file into the EXPLORER.EXE process causing system instability.

Virus: W32.Beagle.CO@mm: A mass-mailing worm that reduces security settings. It can delete security-related registry sub keys and may prevent access to security-related websites.

Virus: Backdoor.Zagaban: A Trojan that allows the compromised computer to be operated as a covert proxy and which may decrease network performance.

Virus: W32/Netsky-P: A mass-mailing worm which propagates by emailing itself to addresses produced from files on the local drives.

Virus: W32/Mytob-GH: A mass-mailing worm and IRC backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform. Messages sent by this worm will have the subject chosen randomly from a list including titles such as: Notice of account limitation, Email Account Suspension, Security measures, Members Support, Important Notification.

Virus: W32/Mytob-EX: A mass-mailing worm and IRC backdoor Trojan similar in nature to W32-Mytob-GH. W32/Mytob- EX runs constantly in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a distant intruder to gain admittance and control over your computer via IRC channels. This virus spreads by sending itself to email attachments gleaned from your email address book.

Virus: W32/Mytob-AS, Mytob-BE, Mytob-C, and Mytob-ER: This family of worm variations possesses similar characteristics in terms of what they are able to do. They are mass-mailing worms with backdoor functionality that can be manipulated through the Internet Relay Chat (IRC) network. Virus: W32/Zafi-B: A peer-to-peer (P2P) and email worm that will reproduce itself to the Windows system folder as a randomly named EXE file. This worm will check for the presence of an Internet connection by attempting to connect to google.com or microsoft.com. Who does not know Sonic the Hedgehog. Ask any teenager in any country and chances are high that they not only know Sonic, they also have some of his video games at home right now. It is impressive to think what an impact Sonic has had on the our social culture. But not everything Sonic touches turns into gold, not every game he stars in is an instant classic. Let’s take a quick look at the bad games.

Sonic Labyrinth

This is a handheld game that appeared on the game gear. The bad features of this game are that first of all Sonic walks really slowly. It was a big mistake to have Sonic walk in this game. The first thing you think about when somebody mentions the blue hero is speed. The only way to move fast is to use the spin dash.

The object of the game is to collect keys to exit the stage. If you get hit while you have the keys, they will scatter all around. Now you have to collect all them again.

The music in this game is pretty bland. The sound effects are familiar. Every one knows the sounds when you collect rings or when you lose them. The stages in this game are also very bland.

Sonic Drift

This games also appeared on the handheld Sega made. Sonic drift is a racing game that is very fast. This is the first racing game that features the famous characters from Sonic the hedgehog. Take a guess who they copied?

This is a real fast game. The game play is real bad. Turning is always delayed and the combination of a fast racing game with lagging game play is a big letdown. The music though is kind of entertaining.

Sonic Shuffle

This is a game that did not appear on a handheld. You might think that this one would be better, but that is not the case. The biggest problem with this Dreamcast game is that it feels like it is dragging you through an uninspiring set of mini games. The game is boring, but atleast the graphics are pretty good

Your goal is to collect all the precious stones. The game offers many mini games that could have been left out. You basically play a board game and get to do mini games. Some of them are fun but most are irritating.

We looked at a couple of Sonic the hedgehog games that should have never come out. You are warned to not play these games, as they are a waste of your time.

If you really cannot believe that these games are a waste of your time, go ahead and rent them. Do not buy them as you will return them the same day. If you are a die hard fan and want to collect all the Sonic games then try to buy them used or get them cheap from an online store.

A military commander in the French army, who was in combat along with Joan of Arc was also an artisan who designed and crafted cards. His name was Etienne de Vignolles, AKA La Hire. Charles the Great was represented by the king of clubs, Julius Caesar became the king of diamonds, and Alexander the Great, the king of hearts. The four sources of western civilization were thus represented by the four kings.

The depiction of what we would call today Queens and Jacks was not as consistent. The queen of spades was drawn in the form of Athena, meant likewise to remind of the warlike Joan of Arc.
