The sport of ultimate Frisbee has been here since 1967. It was started on a university campus while a group of students were hanging out. Frisbee was the rage at the time and there were lots of people into tossing the disc around, but these college students took it some steps further in order to not only make it more entertaining for themselves, but to make it more competitive as well. One of these students named Joel Silver transferred to another university in Lafayette in 1970. He introduced the sport to the new friends he made at this campus as well.

In 1972, the game started being played between different colleges. People truly loved the sport of Ultimate Frisbee and although there were only a few teams in those first years, the thrill of the game spread and more teams developed. By 1975 there were more than 20 university teams playing against each other. Only 4 years later it had spread so far that the teams had to be split up regionally so that local teams could compete. The top teams would then play each other for the title of the year.

College kids were not the only ones who got to enjoy the pastime though. By 1976 there were clubs all over the place, especially warm areas such as California and Florida. People would play the sport along the beaches and enjoy the nice weather at the same time. Spectators would frequent these beach games as well, lots of times in crowds that were quite large, all for the joy of seeing who came out on top.

It wasn’t long after this, in the year 1980 to be exact, that an association of players was put together known as the Ultimate Players Association. They recognized the diverse teams that wanted to take part in ultimate Frisbee. This organization laid out some official rules which were to be followed by all of the teams and games which were being hosted by them. The winners from these regional games would move on to the final round. The association would then recognize the winning team as national Ultimate Frisbee champions.

Ultimate Frisbee these days can be found all over the world being played in these types of competitions. The greatest popularity of the sport can still be found at the college level. There are also plenty of ultimate Frisbee clubs that take part in it as well. There are a number of high schools and grade schools that are providing the game for their students as a form of physical fitness in their P.E. classes. Because of these early introductions to the sport, many of the students develop a real interest in and a love for the sport. One of the major reasons that the Xbox is such a popular system nowadays is because of Halo. This game was one of the first to be released on the Xbox when it first came out. It was immediately received by rave reviews from critics and players alike.

The most important factor in Halo’s success was the gameplay. There was just nothing quite as fun to do as play Halo. The controls were perfect, and in the first level, where you are given instructions on how to play, is excellently crafted. You could easily melee enemies by pressing the B button, and throw grenades by pulling the L trigger. Everything flowed so well.

The vehicles were also a heavy factor in why Halo was so adored. When you first get to drive the Warthog, it feels so good to drive, and the ability for someone to sit in the passenger seat and another in the gunner makes it even better. I do not think I have ever driven a vehicle in any game that felt as smooth as in Halo.

There is an extensive selection of both human and Covenant guns to choose from, and the number of guns is amazing. The fact that you can hold guns from both species at the same time makes the game even more exciting. In Halo, the human weapons are more effective against the Flood, while the Covenant’s own weapons are better against themselves.

The design of each level is beautiful and very well designed. One of the most standout levels is the fourth one, where you start off by storming a beach. But every level is great, and were true innovations at the time. Even level one, where you start off on a ship, was really cool.

Of course, all the flash in the world cannot make a good game become great. For that, you need a significant plot that people can be taken into. When was the last time you heard of a successful game that did not have a plot? (Okay, other than Tetris). The humans vs. aliens plot of Halo has been taken from the video game world into many other mediums as well.

Halo is also known for a brilliant twist, in which halfway through the game, a new enemy known as The Flood makes an appearance. This was one of the biggest surprises in any video game, and it even had an element of horror to it. I remember that I was afraid to play that level alone, at least.

Last but not least was the multiplayer in Halo. No other game has had as good a multiplayer environment, with a large amount of different maps, and the ability to use vehicles on them. I’ve never had as much fun in any multiplayer game as I’ve had with Halo.

Bleach TV show is a famed animation series which is adapted from the manga comic book series. The soul society is the place of the soul reapers who gather there to come to conclusions on major issues regarding their operations. The soul reapers are the good guys and the hollows form the main villains of Bleach. As she transfers her power to ichigo Rukia becomes left with no power and becomes a powerless human. In between several bad guys come to the scene along with the hollows and prevent the normal operation of soul society, how ichigo stops them forms the rest of the plot making it adventurous.

Richard petty

There have been few drivers as celebrated as him in NASCAR. He won his first Winston cup in next year, coincidently winning the title after Richard Petty’s 7th and final win , a NASCAR record that Earnhardt went on to equal later in his career. Dale died in a tragic car accident at the 2001 Daytona 500 at the age of 49.

David Gene Pearson

Pearson stands at second position on in terms of race victories in NASCAR, Behind Richard Petty at 105 wins. He popularly came to be known as the silver fox in his time and is best remembered for his many duels on the track with Petty. In a fourteen year period the two of them finished 1-2 on 63 different occasions, with Pearson outpacing his favored competitor 33 times. He won the sprint cup three times in his career and was inducted in the motor sports hall of fame in’90.

Jeff Gordon

He was the first man to surpass the $100 million mark in NASCAR earnings and is the holder of four sprint cup titles (1995,’97,’98 and 2001). Gordon began racing in’93 and needs just three more race victories to climb to third position in the list of most race wins. Another interesting fact is that he is the co-owner of the #48 Hendrick motorsports team in which Jimmie Johnson has won 3 championships for himself.

Jimmy Johnson

Born in El Cajon, California, Jimmie Johnson began his driving career in 2001. His first race win came next year in NAPA Auto parts 500, California. It took him five more years before he could win his first sprint cup, but since then he has not relinquished the title. An interesting point is that he drives for a Jeff Gordon, a man whose record he is set to equal if he wins the NASCAR championship at the end of the season.
