I have a young daughter, one day, before Christmas, she asks me for a pink rocking horse. I think, oh my, this is going to be really hard to find…Honestly, I had always dreamed of getting something like this for Christmas, but I was pretty sure there was no such thing.

To appease my daughter, I start shopping online for said horse. And, though I expected to have to dig and dig for a pink horsey (and thoughts of how could I spray paint one), I come right upon a bunch of them. I had no idea they made pink rocking horses! How strange, lol.

This is so strange…the multi-colored horses. But, what I see next is even weirder–different animals come on rockers too! Cats, dogs, unicorns, elephants, tigers, wow! I wished I could have had something this cool when I was younger!

So, now I have a new predicament. Yes, my daughter loves the color pink, but she is in no way a girly girl. She will not accept a pony which is covered in bows and lace. I find a plush rocking horse. It is pink (number one requirement!), but also much more fun than some of the others.

The rocking horses come in a huge variety of sizes. The strangest are ones which are large enough for me to ride on! Sort of like carousel horse on rockers, these are large and steady.

My daughter often forgets what she has asked me for and sometimes even doesn’t want it by the time I get it. This came after four days (free shipping!) and her face lit up like my husbands would for a new Mustang.

My daughter sits on this pink rocking horse to watch TV, to eat, to color, it’s awfully hard to pry her from it! It is her new best friend, she has named it Laura-Lee and pretends to feed it and even change its diaper!

So, now I have a really big problem–I keep going back and looking at the adult-sized rocking horses. Not, that I want one of course, it would just look good in my house…well, I may play on it once in a while….

3. If you are getting the red ring of death system error, just turn your console off. That’s right, just turn it off and let it sit for a few minutes. After it has been sitting with the power off, cut it back on and see what happens. I have seen this work so many times with my console.

If turning your xbox off and back on doesn’t work for you, try it again. Turn your console off again, but on this go around, unplug it. Pull loose all of the wires and cable connections from your console. Leave it in this condition for about 25-30 minutes. Hook everything back up and you could see results. Again, sometimes your box may just need to be restarted to clear the errors.
