Lcd Tv A Good Way To Watch The Wizard Of Oz
When I bought my LCD tv I paid twice as much as what you can buy one for today and I the one I bought is half the size of what I can get today for the same money. But I am still happy with my tv and it is still going strong. I did not have the selection five years ago that you have now of LCD televisions either.
And I still have the same TV and I have had no problems with it. But someday I will buy a bigger set. Maybe they will go down more in price. But I have no complaints about my TV picture. I am dating myself here but l can share a unique TV experience that many might not be able to recount.
Do you remember the first time you saw the movie the Wizard of Oz? If you first saw it at the movie theater then you certainly are lucky. The first time I saw it was on our television.
But I would have loved to have seen it at the movie house when it was first released. The first time I saw the movie my family had no color tv, we watched black and white tv for a few years after the first time I saw the wizard of oz.
I remember my mother say that when the scene changed to color it will look brighter on our black and white set. It sounds crazy but the screen did appear brighter, it was not in color, but it was brighter. And that is my story of my wizard of oz. By the way I recently saw it on my LCD tv and it looked great.
I sure wished I could have seen it in color though. Today my LCD TV has a great color picture. And unlike some of the models that were made when I bought my LCD there is no loss of picture when you view the TV from the side. Also, there is no loss of picture quality when the sun shines on it.
I made sure I did a little research before buying my LCD TV. If I was going to spend that much money I wanted no problems. Today there are no problems like picture loss when you view from the side or picture diminish from light hitting the screen. The LCD TV today is the most popular TV out there. It has overtaken the plasma TV and the rear projection TV.
I never wanted to buy a plasma tv because I heard that if you leave it on too long and image from a paused DVD or Vcr could burn into the screen and ruin the set. I did not want to take a chance on a television that expensive becoming ruined. And I will now keep on buying a LCD television, I am sold on it. And for those kids who see the wizard of oz for the first time, I hope they have a LCD to see it on.
