Magic- The Gathering Game Cards :
This is a trading of cards game with specifically designed cards ; a game first developed by mathematics professor- Prof. Richard Garfield. It is played with the minimum of 2 players and each game revolves around the idea of a fight against potent magicians known as planeswalkers. These planeswalkers use their higher degree of power and sorcery by photographs depicted on individual sorcery cards to win over their opponent. There are decks of cards for amateurs known as ‘The intro Pack’ and for more complicated players known as ‘Booster Packs’. Each deck is composed of a pack of 60 cards. Some tournaments may contain a deck of forty. These decks of cards can be divided into three categories as the following :
Combo :
Combo decks as the name suggests is the aggregate of two or more cards to create a powerful effect that either wins the game immediately or takes turns to cause a slow win. The deck should be in a position to play the combo fast enough to win prior to the adversary can win the game himself. Combo decks rely on power, consistency and speed.
Aggro decks have access to disruptive elements. Some examples of such decks are – goblins employing creatures that are cheap, fragile and deal high damage ; White Weenie that uses smaller creatures ; Affinity uses affinity technician along with artifacts in huge numbers ; Red/Green Beatz uses reduced cost but high power creatures ; Sligh ; Suicide Black uses deadly cards that cost life.
Combo :
Combo decks as the name suggests is the mix of 2 or more cards to make a dynamic effect that either wins the game right away or takes turns to lead to a slow win. The deck should be in a position to play the combo quick enough to win prior to the opponent can win the game himself. Combo decks depend on power, consistency and speed.
Examples of decks are – Tezzeret Control that uses counter spells ; Mono Blue Control that uses heavy counter spells ; Blue-White Control that uses board-control cards ; Psychatog that uses disruptive spells ; planetary Slide that uses cards with cycling ; Mono -Black Control that uses removal spells and The Deck that uses dynamic cards effective against techniques.
Combo :
It’s the most strategically easy deck of cards amongst its likes. The game with this deck is fugitive doesn’t require a very long time. Typically creatures are used as the aggressive force of destruction. Subpar draws are practiced in this play of cards and it quickly defeats the opponents. The players try to reduce their opponents life from twenty – 0 in a moment.
