The Turning Point Of A Latin Jazz Musician
Jazz music has always had its admirers and lovers. This story deals with one such admirer. Our brilliant Latin jazz musician is a 28 year old male who loves playing Jazz and considers it his passion and hobby. He started playing when he was 14 and is still playing.
Having a musical background already due to his family his musical Influence comes from his father who himself was a fantastic drummer and guitarist and also played for a band. His mother also encouraged him in his endeavors naturally; his passion for Jazz and music in general grew. He soon formed a band with his school mates and started performing in local bars and also at certain weddings.
As he kept playing his skill and ability improved and his band got noticed. They were on the path to fame and glory and they did reach its end. He also had a beautiful girl in his life who was quite fond of him. But he had a little surprise waiting for him later in his life.
On a Friday evening while on his way to jam up with his band he is hit by a truck . He loses his hand due to the accident and is not at fault at all. He starts wondering what might happen to his future and will he be able to play again. He was supposed to perform later that evening with his band.
His girlfriend gave him company in the hospital and tried to cheer him up He was in a bad state and the doctors were preparing for an amputation. The musician sad and confused stared at the blank whitewashed wall in front of him. He thought he was done for.
His hand had to be amputated and was replaced by a prosthetic one but he kept on playing and strived to be an even better musician. His girlfriend was always there for him and helped him recover from the traumatic incident. His band didn’t break up but played regularly and never declined any offers.
The young man never retired from playing and in fact got better as days went by he could even play better than some of his fellow band mates. His life had changed in many ways but all was not so bad and he learned some important lessons Jazz music had gotten back one of its lost children!
