Time Span Required For Learning Guitar
For all the guitar freaks out there, it is a dream to play the instrument as skilfully as their rock idols. They want to do this not only to impress others but also for their personal satisfaction and to fulfil their dream in an efficient way. But, it is not possible to learn this art, unless one has the passion inside to do so.
Learning process may differ from person to person. Learning of a guitar can be less time consuming if a learner is very much devoted to it. Person who is willing to avail the talent of guitar should be regular in practice and should be determined. One thing should be very clear to the learners that listening is entirely different from playing. Listening involves only ears for hearing but playing involves presence of mind and time. Learners will also have to tolerate pain in finger tips, although only at initial levels of learning process. But, in the end, all these sufferings will payback for sure.
Achievement of perfection in guitar playing takes many years; this is a fact. There are some people who cannot give a lot time and dedication to guitar because of their jobs and busy schedules, but there is a solution for this problem. New methods of learning are now available, which have helped a lot in reducing the time of the learning process.
These days, learners start playing songs on a guitar in as short as a month, by practicing the major and minor chords and progressions with the aid of music theory. You can learn and play songs in only a month if there is a strong will power and thirst to learn.
All the beginners get a fresh and inspirational experience when starting out the lessons. Perfection and flawlessness are achieved with time and dedication, but regular practice is a must. Take the example of a baby; he might fall several times while learning to walk, but finally learns to walk with his efforts and development of leg muscles. Same is the case with guitarists; with time and practice, muscles of your fingers will get used to the strings. In the beginning, some learners may face difficulty and some may give up, but those who are steadfast and practice a lot will surely succeed.
Regular exercises in gym makes the muscles strong; same is the case with guitar. Regular practice makes the finger muscles stronger and harder, so that guitarists can easily make the necessary movements. Purchasing or grabbing a guitar does not make learners a superstar; for becoming perfectionist learners, you will have to go through many phases of learning.
In the beginning, there should be one string practice; for self-encouragement, easy and favourite songs should be selected. Learners should not jump from one string to another at initial level; they should move to the next one after achieving full command on one string.
String exercise will give learners an experience and ability to play songs, which require multi-string usage. Sooner or later, learners will start performing in front of friends or functions. Even after learning guitar, there should be time given to the practice as it makes a guitarist perfect.
