Two Great Harry Potter Games
Widely known and a worldwide sensation, that is how you could describe Harry Potter. To milk the success of the franchise a couple of games have been produced. We will review two of them.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
The first thing you will notice while playing this game is that the graphics are pretty good. But you will quickly ask yourself if the game play is equally impressive.
The cut scenes look real good and the characters look like their real counter parts, the voice acting on the other hand is pretty horrible.
To keep the game from being absolutely boring there are about sixteen potions that you can learn. This will keep you busy for an extended amount of time.
The story is pretty much nonexistent in this game but who cares. Fans are not going to play this game for the story.
The Nintendo Wii has the best version of this game. It has come out on many of the consoles and even on the handhelds.
There are over 100 crests available that you can collect, but it is not necessary to collect any of them. This adds replay value to the game.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
This game offers a multitude of experiences. You can battle, solve puzzles, and explore. Just like in the movie, spells play a big role in the game and there are eight that you need to learn.
The graphics are not that great, but it does look good enough that it is not bland. The cutscenes on the other hand are terrible. The voice acting is horrible, also.
The story is not as extensive as it should have been, but nobody plays this game to get the story out of it.
The game controls is where this game truly shines. If you have played any of the 3D Zelda games, then you know what to expect. It is a good thing that the developers basically copied from the best.
Do not guess about which Harry Potter game you want to play. We just reviewed to two best ones out to date.
