Casino Pending Period Scam
Today I’m going to be speaking about a common excuse that online casinos are using to avoid paying winning players. They apply what’s called a “pending period” to withdrawals and this is a time between you requesting payment and the casino actually processing it.
The funny thing is, casinos are very quick to take your money from you once you deposit it without any queries. It makes sense that they should reciprocate this fast method when paying you any of your winnings that you request.
Sadly though, there are extremely few casinos that pay out in a decent amount of time. This is all due to the pending period process that they have in place.
Typically what happens is you try and make a withdrawal from the online casino and then they will send you an email. The email will say that your withdrawal is in a four day pending period and once this period has passed they will process your withdrawal.
They offer you the option of putting your winnings back into your player account during this pending process. This is ridiculous; if they are able to do this quickly why not just pay out?
I think by providing this option, the casino is hoping that you will not want to wait and just decide to put your money in your account and have done with it. The result would be that they get away without paying you.
The online casinos really will stop at nothing to get your cash. This pending period is just the start of their list of tricks that they will inevitably use to wriggle out of paying players.
Although I should point out that not every casino has scams running like the pending period. Try the bigger companies, they pay players quicker, but then again why shouldn’t they, they make millions every week.
