Some Of The Top Nintendo Emulater Programs
Remember when you were a kid, your first Nintendo game? Have video games ever been quite so exciting? Something about the two color character graphics, the chiptune, chirps-and-beeps music. It was VIDEO GAMES! Not to say that the Xbox and the Playstation and the DS and the Wii and everything else that’s come since don’t have their own incredible games, but there was just something ABOUT those NES games, something that you can’t get with 3D graphics and orchestrated soundtracks, and that’s why people always come back to the Nintendo emulator to relive the glory days…
Emulators for PC
Luckily, there are a lot of emulators on Windows that render just about every game released on the system, including some unlicensed oddities, with no noticeable problems whatsoever. It’s free, but the world of NES emulators on PC is always changing, so keep checking back.
OS X
Mac OSX has always been difficult to find emulators for, so thankfully, many of the most popular PC emulators have been ported to the system, and most of them work just as perfectly as the PC versions, providing near perfect compatibility for the entirety of your NES ROM collection.
The Wii
The best emulator for the Wii? Obviously, that’s got to be the Virtual Console. The only problem with the VC is that you have to wait until Nintendo decides to put the games you want to play up for download, so you might wind up waiting around for some of your favorite cult classics, so you might want to get a copy of a third party emulator just in case Nintendo slacks on one of your favorites.
Playstation Portable
The top emulators for the PSP can actually play all your roms just fine in spite of this being a Sony product and the games being Nintendo. You can find plenty of emulators for the PSP and use all the same roms and play your Nintendo on the go.
