Make sure they have the coverage in case anything happens to the venue, any of your guests, or even band members as a result of you hiring them.

Audio recording software has finally reached the point where anyone can compete with major studio releases from the comfort of their own home. However, it’s still about knowledge. No matter how strong the software might be, it’s worthless unless you know how to use it. You have to ask yourself what your needs are and then determine how much you are willing to spend to get it. Let’s take a look at the top five audio recording software packages used around the globe.

Everyone has surely noticed the way that snow-boarding has been rising and rising in terms of popularity in recent years, and I am sure that it isn’t just me that’s noticed. In the last 10 years or so snowboarding has gone from skateboarding on snow, to the Olympics, faster than you one could ever imagine.

Firstly snowboarding started when the unknown Sherman Poppen made a decision to nail kid’s skis together in an attempt to improve their skating abilities. This was just the start, and as Sherman noticed the commercial potential of this he decided to go about getting them into production. Millions of bucks and thousands of ecstatic boarders later, Sherman will always be remembered for bringing snow boarding to the masses.

The first official competition happened in 1982 and since then snowboarding saw more competitions happen. As the competitions started to spread, snow boarding changed from a spare time pursuit to a pro sport, that requires ability and agility in equal measure.

The most important accomplishment for snow-boarding took place in 1998 when snow boarding made it to the winter Olympic Games. Held in Nagano Japan, the sport was given more than its proper share of coverage. The game was studied by so many folk that have never seen the sport before. The sale of snow boarding and snowboarding hardware was said to has risen by 47% following its appearance in the TVs of millions around the globe. HBO’s vampire series “True Blood ” kicked off yesterday evening with it’s premier episode “Strange Love”. The episode is the series pilot where a waitress as a local New Orleans bar meets a vampire named Bill, and from there a complex relationship begins. So what did I prefer to think of the first episode of the show?

Do I believe it has legs? All those questions will be answered shortly enough within this review. Except for now, let me tell you what I did and did not like about it, starting off with the “likes ” first. I did like the gothic look to it, which is perfectly anticipated and normal considering it’s filmed in Louisiana, the deep south.

If you’re familiar with 2005′s releases “The Skeleton Key ” with Kate Hudson, and “Venom ” with Agnes Bruckner, then you already know the landscape of the series visually. Another like of mine was Anna Paquin’s character Sookie…well…at least halfly.

Paquin plays the role of a southern barmaid very well, and her look is certainly right for the role and the show overall. I also appreciated the attempt at adding some diversity to the show with 2 black main characters, one of the standouts being Sookie’s best mate Tara Thorton, played by Rutina Wesley.

Although in most shows or series filmed in New Orleans, the casting directors are fast to represent the right racial makeup of the town, unlike “Seinfeld ” which managed to get through a whole eight seasons without representing the extraordinary variety of midtown new york city.

The personality was originally meant to be played by Brooke Kerr ( Whitney from Passions ), but I felt Wesley was a lot more authentic in look and perspective. I also liked the opening scene of the first episode, which had a young couple going into a local store and getting into an oral confrontation with the store clerk posing as a vampire, and a genuine vampire / redneck.
