How Jesus Displays His Love For The World Through Songs
Modern worship is inspired by the book of psalms in part. It is also inspired by other books of the Bible and demonstrates how much God loves us. Gods Shows His Love For The World Through Music and many early Scripture songs were based around the psalm texts probably more than they are today.
Many Christian singers have produced albums that have even attracted none Christian fans. Some none Christian singers have even given their lives to God and started singing Christian songs through the love they have found in Jesus. The majority of Christian music involves a lot of worshiping and celebrating the life of Jesus. Christian’s listen to the songs so that they can hear God’s message and spend time in His presence. Today, there are many types of praise music that is becoming popular with all types of people.
The Christian composer of modern songs is far different than the composer of historical songs. Today there is rock, pop, heavy metal, hip hop and more. Historically music was far different but, it still reflected the message that Jesus loves us. Music of today is more up beat and in the large part it has an emotional impact on us. Sometimes music can lift us from a bad mood or inspire us to do something good. On the other-hand, music of a secular nature can influence us to do the wrong thing.
Today there is more Christian music than there ever was. There is all types of singers and groups. There is heavy metal, rock, gospel, pop, hip hop and the list goes on. Even though some people may not agree, Christian rock can still be decent music it just might not be to everyone’s taste. Some people like gentle worship songs whilst others like them more heavy. They still deliver the important message that Jesus loves the world that He died for and rose again.
God is a God that loves all types of music and He does not have a favourite. As long as we are enjoying worshiping His name then He loves all music. God said make a joyful noise unto Him in Psalm 100. It is a very wonderful attribute to develop the glorious gift of music that was given to us by God.
God said that we should make a joyful noise unto Him which is written in Psalms 100. Surely then it is telling us that music is the gift from God? There are many exceptionally fine songwriters that are influenced by God to write music. They might have a prophetic gift to hear God’s voice and translate what He is saying into words that can be sung.
Shane Barnard and Shane Everett are both wonderful musicians who have been blessed by God to sing and write songs. Jennifer Knapp is another wonderful artist whose songs are very contemporary. Some great heavy metal singers exist that sing about God’s word. Whilst not everyone likes heavy metal there are the old type of classic hymns for people who don’t like modern day music.
The world would be a much more boring place without music and it is thanks to God that we have so many singers that can sing God’s songs of love. Many Christian artists have a massive fan base that is growing rapidly. God can even use music to bring His salvation that can transform lives.
