What Are The Different Arts Of TV Systems?
If you browse the internet, you will be lost among all these kinds of television systems, e.g. Cable TV, internet satellite TV, etc. This has the benefit to choose among different arts based on your budget and expectations. On the other side, if you lack the technical background, you will be lost and never know what to choose.
The worse problem here is the non-ability to understand the technical specifications, in case you do not know a lot about this topic. In this article, you will reveal the main arts of TV systems and which one is the best.
Type (1): Analog TV
Analog TV is the one, which we have all grown up with. When you pressed the video button of your TV or when you saw behind your Video player, you would have noticed “PAL” and “NTSC” mentioned there.
While scanning for channels, you would have noticed codes like UHF, VHF, and so on. These were the transmission frequencies at which analog TV was working with.
Type (2): Digital TV
Most types of the current systems are digital ones, thanks to many benefits this art offers. The invention of this kind resulted in ignoring analog TVs, due to their poor capabilities compared to digital ones. In practice, most systems are based on the MPEG-2 system. Furthermore, the same codec is also used in streaming video online, and that is why most of the TV channels are also available as TV on PC channels.
Type (3): TV on PC
In the last decades, if you imagined watching TV on your computer, people would have said that you are crazy. Thanks to the new technology we enjoy now, this dream has come to the reality. It is a question of installing the right software and you are done. Then, you can enjoy watching 100s of channels in different languages.
The videos are streamed from free to air stations all over and are routed through to your computer. All you need is a good internet connection. Based on my personal expectations, the future sure is exciting, and is certainly in HD.
Which type should I recommend?
Without thinking twice, I would opt for the TV on PC option. It saves money and does not require too high investment. In the meantime, almost each one has already computer and internet at home. Adding to this, you can go around the world by downloading 1000s of channels from all over the world. What can be better than this?
