Would you like to download game onto your PSP? Now you’ve come to the right place. The PSP is really amazing equipment. The only trouble with the PSP is the price of the games. However, it’s not so bad, as there are many ways to download game onto PSP without costing much money.

The 1st Step

You may know that PSP games are often in the form of a UMD disc (Universal Media Disc). The 3rd Step

When you begin downloading, make sure the filenames have “PSP” at the end of them. Some sites provide multiple formats so it’s useful to check that for PSP before wasting your time! If go to a less reputable site, you may find that you have downloaded all kinds of junk instead of what you need. In order to get people to download their own programs and stuff, these guys often change filenames, so always be careful.

The 4th Step

Now transfer the games you just download from your computer to your PSP, as we mentioned, you may need a pretty large memory stick. What you need to do is connect the computer to the PSP using a USB cable. Make sure the PSP is switched off before the connection is made. When you turn the PSP on, the computer will identify it as some kind of removable drive, so you can see it in “My Computer.” Double click the PSP, that will give you access to its memory stick from the computer, and copy and paste the game files from the computer onto the memory stick of the PSP. Note that the games should go into a file called PSP, and then one called GAME. If those folders don’t exist you will need to create them in order to make the games run.

The 5th Step

That’s basically to download games onto your PSP. Once the files are transferred to the PSP, you should launch them by opening up the GAME menu and choosing the games. At this point you may get errors; they are often caused by incompatible firmware. This is a common problem when you downloaded homebrew stuff, but you can solve this problem by downgrading the firmware on your PSP to the early ones.
