The Greatest Upcoming Sci Fi Movies This Year
One of this years favorite upcoming sci fi movies is Captain America. The story of how a frail young man with the heart of a lion becomes one of the worlds most legendary heroes of all time. Steve Rodgers undergoes a military experiment which turns him into a symbol of hope for all America.
Danger surrounds them as they delve deeper into the so called killings and when they get on the trail of an elusive hunter who in reality is a real hunter of trolls.
A favorite coming out in two years is the popular Martian Chronicles of Ray Bradbury. This is a collection of shorts that follow colonists who must flee a desolated Earth. They go to Mars to reestablish their lives and human kind but soon realize that the planet is already inhabited by native Martians.
Iron Man 3 is coming out this year as well and it is said to be even better than the two previous ones. Special effects will be massive and the action and adventure will be even more amped up and high voltage.
Oblivion starts on a post apocalyptic Earth that people live among the clouds instead of the surface. On the Earths surface cloud inhabitants go down to forage and scavenge for artifacts the ancients left behind only to come upon a crashed space ship.
This is definitely the year for super heroes as Green Lantern makes his big screen debut this year. Green Lanterns powers come from his ring which is powered by of course a green lantern. He is set to protect and maintain order intergalactic.
The Day of the Triffids is a movie based on the novel of post apocalyptic earth by Mr. John Wyndham. Plants which live by eating flesh from humans over take the Earth and start to breed making them high in numbers. The human race has been blinded by a terrible meteor shower and only a few humans have survived the onslaught of the Triffids wraith.
In the new Xmen installment called The First Class we find out about the origins of Magneto and Xavier. We follow their discovery of their powers and their forging friendship. Then we see what made them nemesis of one another.
There are also other installments of favorites such as the Transformers Dark of the Moon the third one in this series. Also Xmen First Class which follows the Professor X and Magnetos beginnings as close friends only to see what turned them into arch enemies.
The God of Thunder Thor one of the worlds mightiest heroes makes it to the screen too. Thor is cast upon the Earth to live among its people but in return he learns to fight for what is important and save his new home world from evil dark forces.
